The Barley Merchant's dedication to showcasing BC exclusive spirits behind our bar has been part of our DNA since day one, long before "Elbows Up" and supporting local was trending.  Over the past four years of operations, not only did the selection of BC spirits increase with the growth of the industry, so did the quality of products being made. 

We think that Sons of Vancouver makes some of the ABSOLUTE BEST small batch whiskies in the province and so do the judges at award shows, not just in BC but nationally too. 

When they invited us to partner up and make a whisky with them, we jumped at the opportunity. Earlier this year, we spent an afternoon with them to kick off the first steps of the process. Now the distilling is done and the "new make" is ready to be added to a barrel where it will rest at The Barley Merchant for the next 3 - 5 year and we want you to play a role in its journey.
